Red Wings return Colin Campbell to Griffins, Adam Marsh to QMJHL

The Red Wings assigned Forward Adam Marsh to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Val-d’Or Foreurs and released Colin Campbell of his PTO and returned him to the Grand Rapids Griffins in time to begin Training Camp. The Red Wings roster now stands at 48 with more players expected to be assigned to Grand Rapids at a later time.

The Red Wings also returned Mike Borkowski, Mathew Santos, Matthew Ford, Alex Globke, Daniel Cleary, Matthew Caito & Calvin Heeter to the Griffins along with forward Dominic Turgeon and goaltender Jake Paterson.

Training Camp is set to run all week for the Griffins with their lone preseason game set for Friday, October 7. Grand Rapids will travel to Rolling Meadows, Ill for an 8 p.m. puck drop to battle the Chicago Wolves. Tickets are available at the door for $5.
