The Griffins will welcome the defending Calder Cup champion Cleveland Monsters into town for the second time this season. The Griffins took the first game back on October 22 by a final of 3-2.
Over the weekend the Griffins split their weekend games beating Iowa 4-1 and losing to Chicago 4-2. The Griffins will be without forward Tyler Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi was called up by the Red Wings on Monday and made his NHL debut last night against the Flyers in a 3-2 shootout win. That Red Wings victory marked the first win in Philadelphia since 1997. Bertuzzi was on a line with Dylan Larkin and Frans Nielsen. Bertuzzi had 9:57 of ice time, one shot one goal, and finished the game with a +1.
Rookies Mike Borkowski and Dominic Turgeon will be back in the lineup tonight. Jared Coreau will make his 9th start of the season.
