For the third game in a row, the Griffins will battle the Cleveland Monsters. After tonight’s matchup, they are still slated to meet seven more times during the regular season.
The Griffins won both contests this past weekend over Cleveland, Friday in comeback fashion 5-3 and Saturday in a more dominating performance 6-2.
Goalie Eddie Pasquale was solid for the Griffins playing in his first set of back-to-back games since he has been in a Grand Rapids uniform. Jared Coreau remains with the Red Wings until Jimmy Howard returns from injury.
The Griffins have handled the Monsters pretty well so far this season beating them in all four contents.
