The Griffins will be at home today for their annual matinee game as they will host the Manitoba Moose for the second time this season.

Over the weekend, the Griffins split a pair of games with the Iowa Wild. Grand Rapids fell 4-2 in the first game but then won the next night 4-3 in a back-and-forth matchup that was decided in a shootout. Tyler Bertuzzi scored the game clinching goal to seal the victory for the Griffins.
Manitoba also split a weekend series with Cleveland.
The Griffins come into the game at 31-14-1-2 which is good for second in the Western Conference. They have been overtaken by the San Jose Barracuda for the best winning percentage in the conference.
Manitoba enters the hockey game with a record of 19-23-3-3. They are seventh among eight teams in the central division.
Eddie Pasquale will get the start in goal for Grand Rapids. This will be the 21st game for the netminder. His 2.23 goals against average is tied for the fifth best in the American Hockey League.
Brian Lashoff is expected to return to the lineup after missing the previous two games against the Wild.
Yesterday, Dylan Sadowy was recalled by Grand Rapids and Mike Borkowski was assigned to the Toledo Walleye.
