Tonight matchup pits the Griffins against their rival, the Milwaukee Admirals. This will the sixth be the final time the Admirals make the trip to the Van Andel Arena during the regular season.

The Griffins are officially playoff bound for the fifth consecutive season. With 10 games left to play, this playoff birth is the earliest Grand Rapids has clinched since 2006. Now the Griffins will look to secure home ice advantage and a Central Division title.
Since the return of Mitch Callahan the Griffins have won three straight games. Martin Frk has been hot as of late netting four goals in his last four games. But the hottest Griffin as of late is Eric Tangradi. The 6’4” forward comes into the game tonight scoring a point in seven straight games and has at least one point in 12 of the last 13.
Eric Tangradi will be held out the lineup tonight due to suffering a minor injury during their 3-2 win on Sunday. He did not play during the third period.
Jared Coreau will get the start in net tonight. Rookie Dominic Shine will play his second game with the Griffins. This is the first home game for the forward out of Northern Michigan.
The Griffins will be without Ben Street and Tomas Nosek as they are still with the Detroit Red Wings. Nosek scored his first NHL goal during the Wings 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Ben Street was on the assist.
Defenseman Dan Renouf, who made his NHL debut on Monday night, will be back in the lineup for Grand Rapids.
