On Thursday, the Griffins resigned winger Colin Campbell to a two-year contract.
During the the teams championship run, the 26 year-old had career highs in points with 20 and assists with 11.
Campbell was especially effective on the penalty kill for the Griffins during the post season.
Campbell played his college hockey for Lake Superior State in Michigan.
Campbell was signed by the Red Wings in 2014 as a free agent. He has played his entire professional career with Grand Rapids collecting 44 points (22-22-44) while playing mostly on the fourth line.
