Hello everyone! I hope you’re all ready for another Red Wings game day at the Little Caesars Arena! Going Into this upcoming game the Red Wings have a record of 8-8-2, which sits them at 4th In the Atlantic division. The Flames have a 10-7-0 record, which also sits them at 4th In the Pacific division.
The last time these two met was on November 9th, with the Flames taking a 6-3 win in Calgary. Danny DeKeyser participated In Monday’s practice after only playing a total of 3 games so far this season. Coach Blashill stated that he expects Darren Helm and Trevor Daley to play on Wednesday, as well as Justin Abdelkader back In the lineup after experiencing a fractured cheekbone from a previous game.
Anthony Mantha currently leads the Red Wings In points (16) and goals (8). Johnny Gaudreau leads the Flames In points (24) and Sean Monahan leads the Flames In goals (8). Following the Flames 7-4 win on Monday night, that really gives the Red Wings a push to really think through their lines and goalie for Today’s game. All I’m saying Is we should be cautious with the Flames, we’re really looking for a win on these games at home.
Today during practice Blashill stated that Darren Helm will not be In tonights game and Jimmy Howard will be in net for the Red Wings.
Game time is 7:30. Lets Go Red Wings!!
