On Monday, the Griffins acquired Carter Camper from the Tuscon Roadrunners.
Last season, he collected a career-high 61 points (16-45-61) in 68 games playing for the Cleveland Monsters and Tuscon. Camper began the season with Cleveland before joining the Roadrunners via trade on Feb.26. Camper led Tuscon with eight points in the playoffs (1-7-8).
Camper was tied for 11th in points during the 2017-2018 regular season and tied for fifth in assists.
Camper has spent eight years as a pro appearing in 443 AHL games and collecting 330 points (87-243-330). He began with Providence in 2010, played for Springfield, Binghamton, Hershey, Albany, Cleveland, and Tuscon. He was an AHL All-Star in 2012. He has also appeared in 51 career AHL postseason games. He was the top scorer for the Hershey Bears during their run to the 2016 Calder Cup Finals before falling to the Monsters.
Camper played in three NHL games for the Boston Bruins during the 2011-2012 season. He scored one goal. He played college Hockey at Miami University in Ohio. He was a Hobey Baker finalist during the 2010-2011 season. He was also a co-captain during his senior year,
